Terms of Service

Welcome to HomeMap. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HomeMap mobile application and web service ("App") operated by IMR Creations LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and agree to these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
HomeMap is a home management application that allows you to:
- Organize and manage your homes, including rooms, floors, and addresses.
- Track home inventory, tasks, service records, deliveries, contacts, documents, and shopping lists.
- Manage tasks, service records, and delivery tracking (Premium and Pro plans).
- Collaborate with household members by inviting them to share home data (Premium and Pro plans).
- Look up property details using your home address.
3. Accounts
- You must create a HomeMap account to use the App. Account creation is free and only requires an email address, your name, and a password.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to keep it current.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@myhomemap.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of unauthorized access or breach.
4. Subscription Plans & Free Trial
a) Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial with access to all Pro-level features. When the trial ends, your account automatically downgrades to the Free tier. No payment information is required to start a trial. Data created during the trial is retained but features exclusive to paid plans become inaccessible until you upgrade.

All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Applicable taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.
c) Billing & Payments
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe (web) or the applicable app store (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- If a payment fails, your subscription may be paused or downgraded to the Free tier. We will attempt to notify you via email before any downgrade occurs.
- Prices are subject to change. We will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice of price changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
- All charges are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the refund policies of Apple, Google, or Stripe.
d) Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App, the applicable app store, or by contacting support@myhomemap.app.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.
- Upon downgrade, paid features become inaccessible but your data is not deleted.
- Refunds for app store purchases are handled in accordance with the applicable app store's refund policy.
- For web (Stripe) purchases, refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of the initial charge. We process refunds at our discretion in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Collaboration
- Premium and Pro users can invite collaborators to their homes via email or invite link.
- The home owner controls all permissions and can remove collaborators at any time.
- Collaborators can access shared home data based on the permissions set by the owner.
- If the owner's subscription is downgraded, existing collaborators lose access to the shared home until the owner upgrades again.
- You agree not to share invite links publicly or with unauthorized parties.
- You are solely responsible for managing who has access to your home data through the collaboration features.
6. User-Generated Content & Data Responsibility
- You retain ownership of all content you upload or create in the App (photos, notes, records, etc.).
- By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display it solely to provide the App's services to you and your invited collaborators.
- You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
- All data entered into the App — including home details, addresses, inventory, service records, contacts, and any other information — is the sole responsibility of the user who entered it. We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-entered data.
- We are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or erroneous data entered by users.
- We do not use your content for advertising or share it with users outside your home.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
7. Service Providers & Third-Party Contacts Disclaimer
HomeMap does not vet, verify, endorse, recommend, or guarantee any service providers, contractors, vendors, or contacts stored or referenced by users within the App. Any service provider information entered into the App is user-generated content. We make no representations about the qualifications, reliability, licensing, insurance status, or quality of any third-party service provider. Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging any service provider.
8. No Physical Security Guarantee
HomeMap is a home organization and management tool. It is not a security system and does not provide physical security, surveillance, monitoring, alarm, or emergency services. We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the physical safety, security, or protection of any property, its contents, or its occupants. Users should not rely on the App as a substitute for proper home security measures.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems, networks, or other users' accounts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the App.
- Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or any portion thereof.
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
- Use the App to infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Use automated systems, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the App.
- Share or abuse invite links to circumvent collaborator limits.
- Use the App to store or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its servers.
10. Intellectual Property & License Restrictions
The App, including its design, source code, compiled code, features, content, trademarks, logos, and branding, is the exclusive property of IMR Creations LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws worldwide. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
- You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, or replicate the App or any part of it.
- You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially redistribute access to the App or its services.
- You may not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
- You may not remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or secure.
- We do not guarantee that information displayed in the App — including property details, addresses, square footage, or other data obtained from third-party sources — is accurate, complete, or up to date.
- We do not guarantee the availability or uptime of any features or services.
- Property information is sourced from third-party providers and is for informational purposes only. It should not be relied upon for real estate, insurance, legal, or financial decisions.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IMR CREATIONS, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
- Any damages arising from user error, including but not limited to incorrect data entry, accidental deletion, or misconfiguration of settings.
- Any damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data, transmissions, or content.
- Any damages arising from reliance on information provided through the App, including third-party property data.
- Any damages arising from the conduct of any third party, including service providers, contractors, or collaborators.
- Loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IMR Creations LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; (d) any content you submit, post, or transmit through the App; or (e) your negligence or willful misconduct.
14. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time. See our Data Deletion Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately and your data may be deleted in accordance with our Data Deletion Policy.
- Active subscriptions will not be refunded upon termination for Terms violation, except as required by applicable law.
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or in the courts, as described in Section 16.
Class action waiver: To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
This dispute resolution clause does not apply to users in jurisdictions where such provisions are prohibited by law (including the European Union).
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For users outside the United States: If mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide you with rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights shall apply. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the laws of your jurisdiction where such limitations are prohibited.
17. International Users
The App is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States, subject to our Privacy Policy.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Brazil, Japan, and other jurisdictions with specific consumer protection laws: These Terms do not override any mandatory local consumer protection rights that cannot be waived by agreement.
18. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, pandemics, war, or civil unrest.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, End-User License Agreement, and Data Deletion Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IMR Creations LLC regarding the App. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where practicable, by providing notice via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you must stop using the App.
