HomeMap ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the HomeMap application.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through our secure provider (Supabase).
Guest Mode: If you use HomeMap without an account, all data is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. We do not collect or transmit this data.
Home & Item Data: Information you enter about your homes, rooms, belongings, services, and tasks is stored to provide you with the HomeMap service.
Authenticated user data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Guest mode data remains entirely on your device.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your home data is yours.
You can delete your data at any time. Guest users can clear their browser's localStorage. Account holders can delete their account and all associated data by contacting us at support@myhomemap.app.
HomeMap uses only essential cookies and localStorage for authentication and user preferences (such as language selection). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

HomeMap offers a free tier with core features. We may introduce premium features in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance, and existing free features will remain available.
HomeMap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in stored information.
