Data Deletion Policy

IMR Creations LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to delete your data from the HomeMap application ("App") and what happens when you do. This policy is designed to comply with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), LGPD (Brazil), APPI (Japan), PIPL (China), and Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ.
How to Delete Your Account & Data
Option 1: In-App Deletion
- Open HomeMap and sign in to your account.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left to open the side menu.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to support@myhomemap.app from the email address associated with your account with the subject line "Delete My Account."
- We will verify your identity using the email address associated with your account.
- We will process your request within 30 days (or sooner as required by your jurisdiction).
- We will send you confirmation once your data has been deleted.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

| Inventory & records | Items, tasks, service logs, deliveries, contacts, documents, shopping lists |
| Collaboration data | Invitations sent, home memberships, member permissions, profile memberships |
| Subscription data | Subscription status, trial information, purchase records |
What Is NOT Deleted
- Local device data: Data stored on your device in local storage is not automatically removed when you delete your server account. To remove local data, clear the App's data in your device settings or uninstall the App.
- Stripe payment records: Transaction history maintained by Stripe is subject to Stripe's own data retention policies and legal requirements. You may contact Stripe directly to request deletion of your payment data.
- App store payment records: Purchase history maintained by Apple or Google is subject to their respective privacy policies.
- Data already shared with third-party services: Addresses previously sent to property lookup services (Mapbox, RentCast) cannot be recalled. These services process data under their own retention policies.
- Collaborator copies: If you shared data with collaborators, they may retain copies of shared home data in their own accounts. Your membership and permissions will be removed.
- Legal retention: We may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., tax records, legal dispute documentation). Such data will be deleted when the legal retention period expires.
Deletion Timeline

| Email request | Processed within 30 days of receiving and verifying the request. For GDPR-covered users, within 30 days (one month). For CCPA users, within 45 days (extendable by 45 days with notice). |
| Encrypted backups | Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion, after which it is automatically purged. |
| Server logs | Any IP addresses or timestamps in server logs are automatically purged within 30 days. |
Your Rights by Jurisdiction
European Union / United Kingdom (GDPR)
- You have the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") under Article 17 of the GDPR.
- We will process your deletion request within one month.
- If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California, USA (CCPA/CPRA)
- You have the right to request deletion of your personal information under the CCPA.
- We will process your request within 45 days (extendable by an additional 45 days with notice).
- We will not discriminate against you for exercising your deletion rights.
Brazil (LGPD)
- You have the right to request deletion of personal data processed with your consent.
- You may file a complaint with the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD) if unsatisfied.
Japan (APPI)
- You have the right to request suspension of use or deletion of your personal information.
- We will promptly comply with verified requests.
China (PIPL)
- You have the right to request deletion of your personal information.
- We will comply with your request unless retention is required by law.
Russia (Federal Law No. 152-FZ)
- Upon withdrawal of consent, we will cease processing and delete your personal data.
- If you revoke consent, data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is legally required.
Data Portability
Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format (JSON). To request a data export, email support@myhomemap.app with the subject "Data Export Request." We will provide your data within 30 days.
